The characters were rallied by a man who wanted his wife back and they were told that slavers were taking them to the mountains. Upon traveling for a couple days they were met by a blockade of bandits who then challenged them to an axe throwing competition. Darius accepted and won pretty easily. Then they were confronted by 4 Troajin's the next day. Then they found a cave that the tracks of the slavers led into. On exploring the cave they found two harpies battled them and won, and started to make their way back to the missing people. The night after Icarus noticed two lions, woke up the party and they fought the lions. After that encounter they made their way back to Throal reunited the people, and sold one Troajin for the silver reward.

Going around the markets I've heard someone crying out about children having gone missing. Some other Adepts step up, namely Mazor the Windling Beastmaster, Icarus the Human Airsailor, and Darius the Human Archers. I join up with them.
We inquire further and gather information regarding children having gone missing, and some rumour about Slavers. Imagine the bluntness of stealing people in front of Throal's Gates, the very nation which declared the abolishment of slavery. We are able to talk to the father of a kid gone missing and gain a shirt to track by the kid's scent.

Mazor bought a really nice, playful dog, capable of tracking the kid, which lead us into the mountains. This went well, as the tracks were less than a day old.

Along the route into the mountains we are greeted by a group of Orks inviting us to a fun little game of throwing axes at a target carved into a round, that Darius takes up in our stead and wins with excellence. The name of the Axes of Throal shall be brought to great fame.

Further up into the mountains Mazor notices a second track of animals and looks to our right, just as some brown-fured felines attack us. After the fight Mazor takes some time to care for the animals and set them free again. On our way back we found one again, selling it on the market as a riding animal for dwarfs.

Following the footsteps we reach a cave. Inside we find two disgusting creatures that we identify as harpies, and the kidnapped children. We escort them back to Throal.

On the way back Icarus notices two lions coming at us. Mazor tried to also bond with the one of these who didn't run off, but nearly got ripped up in the process. Other than that, nothing much happens.

Please find attached notes on the behaviour of axe-throwing Orks, Troajin, Harpies, and Lions.

From the journal of Mazor, windling beastmaster.

As I was traveling through the Grand Bazaar the other day, I heard a human male loudly exclaiming that his family, and a neighboring family had been kidnapped the day before, apparently by slavers. The two families had been taking the children on a long walk outside the gates of the great city, and failed to return. Witnesses had heard a commotion and seen some figures carrying the missing people away. The man was trying to raise up a posse to apprehend the assailants and rescue the families. I immediately stepped forward to volunteer, and within minutes Dalyor, Darius and Icarus had also stepped up.

It turned out that none of us were trackers, so I went and invested 50 silver coins in the purchase of a bloodhound, which we used to track the family. There was a rumor going around that the miscreants were based several days East of Throal (4710), so we planned on the chase taking several days. We were traveling through some hills, when we were challenged by a small group of Orcs. We were all tense for an encounter with bandits, but it turns out that all they wanted was to challenge one of us to a contest of skills. Darius Crawford, an expert on throwing weapons accepted their challenge to an axe throwing contest and beat them easily.

Later that day, we were ambushed by 4 trojan, 3 of which we rendered unconscious and the other was run off. I treated the wounds of the most injured, and attempted animal bonds with all three as they woke up, and am confident they will not be attacking me again soon.

On the fourth day of the chase we finally cornered the miscreants in a cave. We snuck in, and found two harpies terrorizing their captives, so we slew them.

the night after next our eagle-eyed watchmen saw two lions sneaking up upon us. We all got up, and they were unable to ambush us. We ran one off, and knocked the other out. I attempted to bond with it, but it ran off as soon as it woke up. The next day we returned to the area where I had bonded the three Trojin. I found one of them, and bonded it again, taking it with me to Throal where we sold it, that along with a reward offered by the grateful people we rescued made a very nice sum.

I was just leaving my favorite Tavern, "The Pale T'Skrang." when in the center of the market area stood a man in worn and torn clothes, a human man. He was yelling about how the other day several citizens of Throal went missing while walking out on the roads around Barter Town, Including his wife and child. He started pleading to the crowd for someone to go out to the area around the mountains were there was rumors of the people that captured the citizens, asking if anyone would step forward and offer their aid. Mazor the Wingling Beastmaster, someone I know from my adventure in Juniper Hollow came forward first. then Dalyor an Elven wizard came forward, then Darious Crawford afforded his aid. Finally yours truly Icarus Wolf-Swift joined the crew and we were off. we fought some Cat things on the way over there, idk what they were called I am not a beastmaster. We also met some orc warriors that blocked our path and challenged us to a throwing axe contest. Now I am terrible at throwing things, but Darious is a beast of a man when it came to tossing those axes like hot damn. We finally found the cave were the kidnapped people were, inside there was two Harpies that we had to fight, me and mazor took most the heat and together all four of us took out the harpies and saved the day. upon travelling back we were camping and I heard a rustle in the bushes on my watch, alerting the rest of the party we investigated and found two very deadly but very cute looking lions, we beat them our beast master tried to bond with one of the lions but it was spooked and lefted. bring everyone back to the safety of Throal afterwards.
