Great Bearded Dragon
Transplanted from a far away land, Great Bearded Dragons can be found in warm, dry areas around Barsaive, particularly near Death’s Sea. These handsome lizards grow to between two and three feet in length. Their scales develop into spines along their joints and the sides of their bodies, making biting into them an unpleasant prospect for most predators. They are enormously self-assured and confident in their own abilities. Many people keep these charismatic creatures as pets, as they help control the population of certain undesirable insects.
Curiously, actual Dragons take no offense to the diminutive creature’s Name. In fact, some claim that Dragons tend to have a better first impression of Namegivers that are able to befriend a Great Bearded Dragon.
Great Bearded Dragons are suitable as animal companions.
