I have a question about blind Fire "The adept senses an unseen opponent by making a Blind Fire test against the target’s Mystic Defense. "
Does this mean I would do blind fire tests when ever I walked into a possibly hostile area? Or do I have to do an awareness check for the talent to "turn on"?
Or is it always on and the GM would let me know to make a Blind Fire test?
Or does it only matter if i am currently in combat?
Say a dirty elf thief was sneaking up on me would i get a blind fire roll to sense her? Or would i have to make an awareness roll first then a blind fire test?

Re: Blind Fire (Archer 9th)
it is active, not passive.
if you know there's a hidden enemy around (hiding thief, nethermancer in friendly darkness, etc) you can try to use it on them.
