Description:
A short, overweight dwarf with a mane of shaggy, unkempt red hair and pale green eyes, wearing a robe covered in badger fur, including a hood with ears.

Brief Backstory:
Born and raised in Throal, son of a bureaucrat and his alchemist wife, Zurgen's parents are social climbers, and he's known from a young age that he's expected to marry well. He is completely uninterested in that, so he's done everything he can to avoid such entanglements, even as they did everything they could to enhance his status. It went so far as him running away as a teenager, and learning wizardry from a hermit named Karstix rather than the august teacher they'd arranged for him.

Now he's completed his training, and shown back up in Throal (with a highly changed appearance, to prevent himself being recognized by busybodies who might know his parents) looking for adventure. He knows the power of names, so he doesn't want to take a false one, but he hopes he can become an established and independent Adept before his parents get word of him being back.
