I tried to create an account for the new store via my iphone5s but I received a warning saying my birthday was input using the wrong format.

I didn't check whether it had something to do with the language settings on my phone (currently Danish). Also for birthdays I had to choose from a wheel. I could not enter manually.

Thanks. I will look into it. I know iPhone loves to default to those crazy wheels sometimes.

This problem is fixed by way of removing the birthdate requirement for our store. We don't have adult products so no need to worry about that.
