Re: AAR 8M Roots of the Present [Tuesday, Feb 1, 2022, Midnight UTC]
From the journal of Truck, Windling Warrior For a long time now I have been hearing reports from people who have traveled near the old shrine to Rashamon at Uzhok Pass (hex 46.12). They all agreed that something freaky was going on, but none of the travelers felt inclined to investigate the situatio...

Re: A Troubled Childhood
Old Cusa continues his drunken ramblings. From the Fairiday main office, we all went to the Ditchburn Boarding House where Mrs Aulakh checked us into rooms and Gatsha (big Zulu, recently promoted to Lt in the British Army, "grandfather" of the Lodge) planned a welcome back party for me in two eveni...

Re: Rumor (2M): A Monster Most Fowl
I hope you forgive me, but I am going to critique the rumor. I think you have too much stuff in it. First, you do remember that Throal only opened it's gates 9 years ago, and that most places opened them much later? I fail to see how a village could be founded, develop an industry big enough to supp...

Re: About the Binding Threads spell
it is not a general-purpose replacement of your will step, it is a specific replacement of your will step ONLY when making a spell Effect test. binding threads does not have any spell Effect tests being made, and as such, Willforce does not apply. I had understood that Effect Steps were always roll...

Re: About the Binding Threads spell
At 4th circle I don't find the spell too bad. It cost the Wizard at least 2 standard actions to cast the spell, and the spell only lasts rank rounds, the target gets a roll to end it prematurely (and step 7 against TN 10 will succeed an average of 1 in 4 times), and as you mentioned, there are Talen...

Re: New Discipline: Harriers
Nice, but a few suggestions. I agree with ragbasti's comments. Also... I don't see the choices of Acting and Wood Carving as artisan talents. What relationship do they have with the discipline? Meanwhile, the karma ritual has them juggling, but they don't get Blade Juggle until 8th circle. One of th...
