And other myths!

What is the most peculiar dubious lore from your campaign?

Horror Marks can be seen on the bottom of one's left foot.

In a dungeon, the demon lives on the left side to the entrance...

Had an NPC from Cathay who was saying that everyone there considered powder of troll horns was an aphrodisiac / cure for erectile dysfunction.

This gave a whole new dimension to the Outcast Warrior Discipline.

I started a "ritual" while playing in my buddy's 3rd Ed campaign as an Ork. I let it be known to the other players that it was custom that the Ork way of burial was to orientate the body to face East, decapitate the corpse, place the head between the knees of the body. That way the dead was sure not to return. I've been running 4th edition for a while and reintroduced the custom. A couple of the players noted that it must work, because they have never seen an Ork Ghoul or Cadaver Man. 😇

One we accidentally started in my last ED2 Campaign was the result of a PC starting the game without Throalic. Whenever the Nethermancer encountered a Construct or Horror, he would call it "Interesting", so the Maracan concluded that "Interesting" was the Throalic word for "Tainted".

Bathing in blood of Therans increases your success with women.

Resist Disease Potions causes Horror Marks and you can dilute a single molecule of an Healing Potion in a gallon of water to get the same effect.

This is widely known, all the REAL Questors says so.
