Re: Next Book Announced! Kickstarter Launch June 10!
I’m very excited for this. The idea of creating paths that can be utilized with other existing disciplines is a great design decision. It allows for players with established characters to utilize this book in a more meaningful way than if it were just a collection of new disciplines (which I wouldn’t have been opposed to, either).
Im also very excited about the kickstarter opening up access to the 4th edition books already published. I missed the boat on the first one and it has been painful to find physical copies of these books outside of the FASA online store (I found the players and GM guides but none of the other books). Not being from the states makes it even harder to justify the extra costs on currency conversion and shipping, so here’s hoping the discount is enticing enough to make me pry open my wallet (and I’m guessing it will be. It’s hard to pass up the opportunity to complete the collection).

and with the first stretch goal reached I can't wait to grab that map.
Any idea what size it may be? what material it will be printed on?
It is super early still but I am also wondering about further stretch goals seeing as the second has nearly been hit.

In a perpetual state of lore overload.

http://legendsofearthdawn.com/ Just did a great podcast about it. On Twitter @mataxes and @Neo_Anarky_Opti did a great job talking about it.

Soooooo...... Is there a release date?
Re: Next Book Announced! Kickstarter Launch June 10!
Not officially yet, no.
As soon as we have one, we'll be shouting it from the rooftops (figuratively speaking).

I missed the Kickstarter I tried to find a way to fund after the Kickstarter ended but I couldn't find an option (or I was too late even for that). I am just very eager. The Gauntlet discipline sounds like something I've wanted for a very long time.
Re: Next Book Announced! Kickstarter Launch June 10!
Is there such a big difference between the Gauntlet and the Zhan Shi except for the "spiritual mentality"?
Re: Next Book Announced! Kickstarter Launch June 10!
Yes they are very different.
Zhan Shi was built on speed while the Gauntlet take its time to deliver devastating blow.

Unfortunately the way Kickstarter works is that once the funding window closes, you can't get in.
You'll still be able to get the book, once we release it, of course, which we're hoping is sometime in September.
