I was wondering where I might be able to find more information about the Death Rebellion (1484 TH), mentioned in the GMG pg 29.

Was this covered in a novel or module?

If memory serves the novel Poisoned Memories would be a good start, as it tells the story of Neden's abduction and rescue (although not much about all the cloak and dagger stuff taking place behind the scenes). You'll probably need to read The Longing Ring and Mother Speaks first as they form a trilogy. All three are available as eBooks on FASA's shop.

The third edition Nations of Barsaive 1: Throal dives into this topic too. Poisoned Memories deals with the details about Neden while Throal explores the forces involved.
