Fun time spirit [Spirit]

Spoilers for my games!

Mimic
A manifested guardian spirit disguised as a treasure chest. Anyone who attempts to move it, pick the lock, or force it open are attacked. It will be paranoid, and may have forgotten why it decided to guard a particular area, as they are not the sharpest toolboxes in the shed. They will converse with people that see through their illusions, though what Name-giver languages they speak may vary.

I would add the rules for traps.
Also I wouldn't give it a namegivers language but instead use spirit talk. Gives the Nethermancer more spotlight ;)
But I like the idea and am a big fan of Mimics myself :D

Hey! Thanks!

Do you mean treating the Mimic as a trap ... that's an interesting approach. I was thinking of just using the Surprise mechanics, but traps would work as well.

As far as the language, in my games spirits that have a lot of interaction with and interest in Name-givers learn a language, in addition to being able to use spirit talk. In 1879, I had a hearth spirit that had protected a pub since at least Roman times (although obviously she'd been sleepy for a few hundred years) and she spoke Latin.
