What is the name of the astral plane where the Horrors originated?

(Husband swears he saw it in the Horrors or Dragon book, but cannot find it now.)

The 'planes' in Earthdawn are called 'Netherworlds'. They are part of Astral Space proper but they gave them this name to differentiate them from the more classic 'astral-physical continuum' of Astral Space.

The Horrors are thought to come from one (or possibly several) of the Netherworlds but I don't remember anything canon about that plane having a specific name.

Although, personally, I'm pretty sure its called Australia.

nah, can't be.

that has to be where HMHVV is from, after all. drop bears and all that ;)

since vampires aren't actually horrors, that can't be their home plane :D

I have never seen a specific Name, and given it's where Horrors come from (and the significance of Names in ED,) knowing that Name would probably be extremely unhealthy/dangerous.

Plus I'm not sure how anyone would find out. Even if you could locate it, it'd almost definitely be a one way trip and the locals aren't the friendly talkative types...

Well, higher circle nethermancer can summon horrors from such a plane so they atleast must know its name.
But I don't know anything canon either.

Pretty sure they do that with the Horror's name. Not the name of the plane they reside on.

From the bowels of New Jersey, I summon thee: VERJIGORM!

Sure he need the horros name, but he also must know where to summon him from.
After all he creates something like a portal between those two spaces. I don't think he would be able to do so without knowing this space / plane / netherworld.

From ED Player's Guide 3rd ED. (Emphasis Mine)

Horror's Call

This dangerous spell summons a Horror from astral space. The
magician must learn the Name of the Horror he wishes to
call, then carefully inscribes a 4-yard (2-hex) radius circle, painting
it white and gold.

It specifically calls out the name of the Horror being required. It never asks for the name of the plane in that or any other summoning spell I can find. Generally it's only the name of the entity you want to summon that's needed.
