Probably a stupid question, but sometimes you learn surprising things from asking stupid questions.

Since it says "may only be spent upon talents", does that mean they can not be spent upon spells such as "grove renewal" or Devotions such as "Energy in motion" or for that matter "Life Check" or "Rally" when learned as Passion Devotions instead of as Talents. IE: does "only be spent on talents" literally mean "only talents" or is it just supposed to convey "can't be spent to take normal recovery tests"?

As indicated, only talents.

So, it could be used on Relentless Recovery?

As far as I can tell, yes. Also Fireblood. The main thing, of course, is to keep things like Wood Skin and Earth Skin going.

No, Relentless Recovery does not provide a way to spend a Recovery Test. It provides a replacement when making a Recovery test. These are two different functions which do not directly interact.
