Shossara

Anyone here know if there is any cannon content about Shossara anywhere in the books of any edition? Especially it's exact location?

That is beside the little tidbits in Blood Wood and the vague arrow pointing north in the Theran book?

Also: was the fact that 1/3 of Spain is missing on the Theran map addressed? Is this a drawing mistake or did something really happened to it? (like Catalonia literally seceded back then).

Thank you.

Shosara is going to be detailed in the up coming Elven Kingdoms book alongside Sereatha. I believe geographically is occupies the land mass around Sweden, Finland and / or Norway I'm not 100% sure.

As far as Spain goes, that whole area is simply known as the 'Slithering Wastes' and isn't really covered in much detail, you can get a better look at it in the Marac chapter of the Theran Empire book.

The "Slithering Wastes?" I thought that was Portugal!

Ooooooooh Portugal Burn!

... I actually don't have any opinions on Portugal. I'd like to visit.

Nice to see that still going around. FWIW, the ED4 crew is using my old Shosara piece as a foundation for the chapter in Elven Nations. Expect some serious revision, including the location.

As long as it remains consistent with the general direction shown on the Theran Empire map... :D

Since the only 2 things we know are:

- somewhat where the arrow is pointing
and
- on/close to the shore of a sea

(and assuming the arrow do not point past the pole; i.e. Canada)

Sossara can pretty much only be located along the red line on this map (Fear my mad MSPaint skills!)

Yup. We've always assumed it was Archangelsk.

Same here ;) My players are on their way there and I've calculated travel time based on google maps, walking time xD
