Would you allow the use of Haggle on your trainer advancement fee? 😏

That depends, some potential trainers might feel straight up disrespected.
Trainers for disciplines that have haggle as a discipline talent will probably see it as a show of competence.

never forget, trainers are adepts and for some strange reason, adepts can never seem to keep hold of to silver for long.

I wouldn't allow a haggle skill/talent roll, I would allow the player to haggle with the GM NPC trainer as to what they can do to discount the price.

For example: The group I am running is getting a name for themselves in Bartertown so every time they are back there, the 1st circle broke adepts swarm the group, begging, since most of them manage to train to 2nd circle by deals and doing deeds.

So the last solution was that the party member trained 1 adept for free and required that newly trained adept to train 1-3 other adepts for the debt to be paid. 1-3 pending on the circle of the adept that was bothering the group for training

I agree that it depends on the discipline to a certain extent. Highland trolls would certainly take offense. But I tend to err on the side of letting players use their abilities whenever possible. If someone is investing Legend in Haggle, let them haggle!

Of course. I'm 20% better than other Trainers and deserve a higher fee.

I would/do use haggle on anything that has a silver cost.

Are we... haggling over when it should be acceptable to use Haggle? This is too meta for me.
