Bennies, name to be changed.

Hey, I'm thinking of adding a Bennie, name to be changed, system. Basically it would replace the role-playing LP/AP bonus. Instead the LP/AP rewards would generally be higher. And this stuff:
In the middle of the table is a dish with one gem per player. If another player does something especially entertaining or in character, a player can give the player a Bennie, name to be changed. The Bennies, name to be changed, can be spent to improve a roll. When spent, the player chooses dice they would be rolling and instead of rolling it, place it on the table, highest value up. The dice is not rerolled in this case. A d20 is a 20. It's actually the only way you can get a result of 20 on a d20. Once spent, the Bennie, name to be changed, is removed from the game. If a player has previously been rewarded with a Bennie the player can pass it to another player for doing something entertaining.
At the end of the game session, all unspent Bennies are lost; you can't save them.
Obviously the verbiage is garbage; I'm just thinking this out as a rough draft.
