Character: Zil (Chris D)
Rumor:- Deed To fulfil the Deed on Thread Item Thornbird, Zil and some companions must travel to Drogheda (where the brooch was created) and help one of the first owner's (Megy Cleerie) descendents find happiness.
Zil has done some research, and has learned that Drogheda was a midsized city between the Dragon Mountains and the lower Coil River and the Area Sea. It is known that the city built a hidden kear within a half days travel of the old city site, but it is not known where the kear is, and there have been no reports that kear Drogheda has opened. So step one, find the kear. Step two, open it. Step three, Ether identify a descendent, or just hope that getting out of the keir makes one of them happy.

This golden brooch features a singing bird pierced in the breast by a thorn tree. The craftsmanship is stunning and elaborate, with even the smallest details so finely wrought. Those looking at it closely feel like they can see the small bird shuddering its final breath from a perfect song. As marvelous as the art, the legends of the brooch are full of tragedy. Rumors abound how pain follows every owner despite their best efforts.
