Rumor: Bolg Industries has been been contracted by the Enchanters Guild of Throal to investigate a supply route for Elemental Fire to assist in the development of new and high demand magical items for the increasing population of Throal and it's surrounding allies.

Dvarim asks a few friends to accompany him on a quest to retrieve some elemental fire. Dubahn, Daldorer, Zil and myself were selected to assist. I received a messenger bat while having a frosty beverage at the local pub. We all meet at Dvarims Forge the next day. We will travel by riverboat to Travar, then head over to the Scarlet Sea. Craig Heart and Forbe Forge will accompany us. THey are the elemental specialists that will extra the kernels of True Fire.

It takes 1 week to get to Travar. It was uneventful. There was a couple times that another river boat came close, but the sailors on our boat ran up a colored flag, then the other boats took off. When we land at the Travar docks, we are met by a steward from House Demorgin. THis is a small trading house owned by a couple of brothers. We stay at the brothers house and they ask us about any business we have in the area. I leave this discussion up to Dvarim.

We go to the marketplace, Dvarim is looking for some fire protection gear. He weaves a tell to anybody that asks saying we are going up into the mountains, the thick skin charms help wit that. We also stock up on rations, water. It will be about 3 weeks till we return to Travar. We purchase a couple of small kaskes of water, just in case.

Next morning we board an airship. It will drop us off on the south side of the Servos Jungle(30,23). From there we will hike to the Twilight Peaks and ultimately we will hike to the volcano on Mt Angrak(26.23). Once we reach our destination the captain of the air ship says we have reached our drop point. He says he will bring the ship down low and drop ropes for us. We don't need it, Dvarim chain casts Metal Wings on everybody and we jump overboard.

As we are hiking towards the mountains, Dvarim and Zil both say something about a cloud coming towards us while all the others are going the other way. THen we see a few people jump out of the cloud and start soaring towards us. We estimate they will land within 70 yards of us. We buff up and prepare for battle. Zil does a disarming smile and asks if we can talk about this first. Dubahn tries to Ginx one of the Skyraider casters and it breaks the Disarming smile. Battle is joined. It is brutal and short. All the trolls are down after 10 seconds. Daldorer rushes forward to cast Last chance on all of the downed trolls. He is able to save all but 1 of them. As they are waking up, they all find their weapons close at hand, and a silver pice on their foreheads. Not sure why I put a silver piece on them, but it seemed like the thing to do at the time. According to Skyraider honor, since we bested them in battle then our indentured to us. We ask them to guide us up into the mountains to the lake of fire. They say they will.

After the Skyraider guides are ready to travel, we head into the mountains. After a couple days it starts to get warm, or rather hot. Our guides say we need to stay on the worn trails as this is where large beasts hunt. We are going considerably slower in the heat. We are using aot more water than we thought we would, even planning for the heat. Not sure if we brought enough. After a second full day, the Skyraiders say we should reach our destination later tomorrow or early the following day.

Third day we began hiking, and it was HOT! DAMN HOT! We are drinking every few moments. After 8 hours of hiking the leader of the Skyraiders says we should wait till tomorrow to finish the climb, we all look worn out. Zil is thinking about summoning a water elemental to see if it can create some cool water for us. But he isn't sure it would work, and the elemental might be pretty mad to be summoned to this heat.

Fourth day on the mountain, I feel like I am walking in fire, but there is no fire. We reach a point where we can see lava flows. The leader of the Skyraiders says what you are looking for is right over that way. We set up a base camp right here on this ledge, Zil produces a large air bubble thing that keeps a lot of the heat out. After camp is set up we move out to see about harvesting some True Fire. THe Skyraiders volunteer to stay and protect the camp.

As we approach the lava flow, several salamander creatures come at us. As we are fighting them 4 other hydra like fire creatures ambush us from the lava. It is a hot fight, but we are triumphant. There is some heat strain and we are tired extremely quickly. We gather ourselves after binding wounds and gather the true fire kernels. Then head back to the camp. We immediately break camp and head down the mountain. It only takes 2 days to get down to the flats where we part ways with our Skyraider guides.

We make our way back to Throal and once there we are thanked profusely by the Enchanters Guild.
