Brief Backstory:
After the caer opened, Haast's family were among the early settlers of the lands outside. They set out to claim a plot of their own, and did reasonably well for themselves, even thriving as independent farmers. Life under the sky was hard, but freeing in a way. Haast trained in fighting, and was expected to eventually join the guard, but the call of the wild was too strong. Now, officially a member of the Beastmaster Discipline, Haast sets out to learn the deeper truths of the wild world between the earth and sky.
