From the Journal of Thane Cawdor.

Fenrir has a Thread Item that required him to travel to a certain location and kill a crow bare-handed, without using Talents or magic of any form. As a windling Fenrir and a crow are pretty evenly matched physically. Avalandohamagannahnieventhallailmar and I accompanied him upon the journey.

Our first plan was to go to the Human Cathan Village (36:10) but we ended up losing the path and getting lost. We came upon the river about one days travel south of the village and decided to not bother backtracking to it. It was not a very good place to cross the river, but Avalandohamagannahnieventhallailmar felt it was important to cross here. He summoned a small water elemental which turned some of the water to ice, and after he, me, and Fenrir's bear climbed on, pushed us across the river. We continued west until we came to the western edge of the jungle, then traveled south along it's edge for 4 days before we reentered the jungle and found the hilly jungle area where the crow hunt was required to take place.

Upon the way we were attacked by 4 Kotili (large lizard like creatures), which we slew. We also were attacked by 3 Jacoti and an albino Jacoti. The albino could create fog, and cause the earth to tremble so much it was difficult to walk. We talked about sidling away and attempting to avoid them, but we spent more time talking than sidling, and they charged us, so we slew 2 of them. One ran away, and the albino was unconscious when we left, but likely recovered. Fenrir attempted to bond with the Jacoti, but failed to sway them.

When we reached our destination, Fenrir spotted a likely looking crow, which he attacked. A flock of Blood Ravens took exception to this and kept attacking Fenrir. Fenrir had warned us not to interfere with his hunt of the crow, but we eventually decided that the Blood Ravens needed to be frightened away. The silly things would not leave! They were very easy to kill, I think every throw of my spear that actually hit one killed it. But even when battle shouted they would not flee. Fortunately, while Fenrir had a hard time catching his crow, whenever he did manage to attack he got some good blows in and killed his crow, accomplishing his deed. He bonded with one of the surviving Blood Ravens.

More Further Information: hexes 3410, 3310, 3311, and 3312 are now explored, or at least they have been traveled through and we know what the predominate terrain is.
