Bolt Spell and KaV Acid Spit

The Bolt spell does not say if is Physical Armor, Mystic Armor, or No Armor.
Which? Or does it depend upon the KaV?
In particular, what armor does Acid Spit have to go against?
acid spit has a secondary effect of step 4 damage for 3 rounds. Does that acid damage get resisted by armor each round, or once it is past the armor is past it for the full duration? As I understand it, Even if it is /NA, it always has to go against the targets Natural MA, so even if it is NA, is it Natural MA once, or 3 times?
And just to be clear, the caster does or does not need to maintain concentration on the spell for those extra rounds for the acid to work?

2nd question,
What defines the "target area" of the burn area spell?
How big can the area be? How small can it be? What shape can it be?
The range is Rank yards, but I assume the Area of Effect is not everybody and everything within Rank yards of the caster. If the range and the area are the same thing, it effects the caster as well?

For any Area effect spell where the area is not explicitly stated in the description (such as Burn Area or Freeze Area), the area of effect is Rank x 5 feet from the point of origin, which must be within Rank yards of the caster. The caster may reduce this area (such as constraining it to Rank x 3 feet) without any effect on the Target Number for casting or the Spellcasting Step. For spray-type spells, such as Shockwave, the default area of effect is Rank yards in a 15 degree arc from the caster, borrowing the arc of fire from a cannon loaded with canister.

Bolt is a Base Spell. The Armor involved is determined by the KAV.
Acid Spit goes against Physical Armor for the initial Effect Test. Successive round damage ignores armor.
1879 spells do not normally require concentration, similar to Earthdawn. Once the process of a spell has begun, it continues on its own.
