Questions for movement: Summon Bone Spirit
Having recently hit Circle 5 Nethermancer, my Bone Spirits can now actually do something in battle. Having used them a few times now, it seems incredibly "fiddly" to actually do so. The Bone Spirit cannot move more than 10 yards from the magician, and they have their own initiative, so moving and in...

Re: Half-Magic question
Someone shoots an arrow at you, you might be able to figure out where they got their ammunition from, but it's a super week half-magic for sure. That's actually the only use I found for it when I played an Archer. "*This particular feather, combined with that type of wood, indicates that it's from t...

Re: Windlings, shields and weight
Fairly sure this is another of the cases where the writers assume you would use common sense

Re: Nightflyer's Cloak, what can I turn into?
If I get the same "hp", then there's a logical follow up. Assuming my form has 32 death rating, and I take 20 damage, then shift back. Do those 20 damage transfer over, or am "I" unhurt.

Re: Nightflyer's Cloak, what can I turn into?
How does unconscious/death even work with this spell. I just assumed you would keep your own rating, but that would mean the mother of all mosquitos.
If you get the creatures ratings instead though, what happens when it/you dies?

I should put you on retainer Panda. The rules are giving me so many headaches. Good thing the ED setting is so amazing

Nightflyer's Cloak, what can I turn into?
This spell allows the magician to assume the form of any creature able to be affected by the Command Nightflyer talent (p. 135). Alright, then we look at the talent. The adept can converse with and command nocturnal, flying creatures, such as owls, bats, and Krilworms. Okay then, so I can turn into...

Re: Multiple Nethermancer Aspect spells?
Greetings, No, for two reasons. One is a spirit cannot be bound to a spirit. In a sense they occupy the same "space". While it's not specifically addressed, here it is. As well, just because they're accept any command doesn't mean they do it willingly. Willing means they do it of their free will. I...

Booster Potion Vs. Last Chance spell
The question seems to be... do you have be alive to benefit from a booster potion, or can I pour one into a dead guy and then fire a Last Chance on him to boost the recovery test to revive him?

Re: Multiple Nethermancer Aspect spells?
Follow up question. Is anything preventing me from using an Aspect of the Fog Ghost on a Bone Spirit? I mean the spell to summon a bone spirit says it obeys any command, so I could just command it to accept the Aspect of the Fog Ghost, and then it would be willing. It seems some right mad science to...
