Re: spell matrices
Even so the illuionist only has one combination fitting this description, the (True) Ephemeral Bolt and bolt. Guess the elementalist is the one benefitting the most of this new rule. Illusory and True Missiles, too. Ah, right, never used those spells because of the 2 threads needed, I prefere Phant...

Re: spell matrices
It's especially helpful for Illusioinists because they can now have both real and illusory versions of a spell in the same matrix, and decide from casting to casting which version to use -- instead of tying up 2 matrices with slightly different versions of the same spell. This lets them play more w...

Re: Movement&Distances
You already said so yourself: Usain Bolt was able to run this fast in absolute perfect condition. Just once this day, perfect ground, shoes, clothes, no additional weight and even the perfect weather. + The speed restriction for characters is just meaned for situations where you need them. If the ch...

Re: Disbelieving damaging illusions
They could have the player use cards. Playing cards where the color denotes true or not or spell cards that just shows whatever spell is being cast. Placed face down, then the GM has no idea and can just act like a player. I'm playing an illusionist and I put a D4 somewhere another player can see i...

Re: Actual use for Hold Thread?
This way your standard matrizes become enhanced matrizes as well, just that you receive strain, so you still need some tactical thoughts. Or as already mentioned: You can prepare 2 thread spells / have an addition thread. But yes, I know what you mean, it isn't the talent I'm looking for to get eith...

Re: Fourth Edition Errata, Clarifications, and FAQs
Yeah, I know. But it is by far different than it was before.
In older versions the flying speed of a griffin was double the movement speed.
And if you take a jungle griffin 4th edition for comparison, it has Movement: 14 (Flying 20) and has more or less the same statue.

Players Guide p. 294 Griffin:
Movement: 18 (Flying 18)
I guess the movement speed at land should be less than flying?
