Re: Question: 'Nobody Here' spell
I'm going to assume the group of obsidimen are affect by the spell for this. Pretty much everything here is covered under Illusions ( Player's Guide , p. 266). Since there's no way to go around, the rider would assume there's some obstruction in the way. Normally, they go around and don't notice. In...

Re: Question: 'Nobody Here' spell
Illusions (as distinct from figments) rarely affect only one sense in 4E; they don't fool your senses, they fool you into believing the illusion, then your senses create whatever input is necessary to make sense of the illusion. Interacting with them generates Sensing tests, which is your sensory in...

Re: Character Kit: Ferwyll Trisrora
No problem, it will show up along with a host of other new blood charms. The missing talent option is deliberate - just because they're available doesn't mean they must be taken and the character has quite a bit going on already and doesn't go deep into a number of their options already. It also lea...

Re: Character Kit: Ferwyll Trisrora
Greetings, The blood survival charm is from an upcoming book included as a bit of a tease. There's quite a few new blood charms in the book and blood survival is the kind of thing you might want if you live near the Wastes and find yourself going in there. Ever. I worked with Kyle on the character (...

Re: longing curse for Blood Elves?
Greetings,
The Step is listed in the blood elf entry earlier on the page:
"Longing: A side effect of the Ritual of Thorns is all blood elves are afflicted with Longing (Blood Wood, 3)."
In this case, it's Step 3.
Hopefully this answers everything.
Best regards,
Morgan

Re: Nethermancer Circle 5 Karma ability
Greetings, Belenus is correct. I wouldn't say it must say penalty, but it's definitely a good start. The spell should indicate what the penalty is, rather than relying on a condition (unless that's how the table wants to roll). For example, Spirit Dart clearly has a penalty, but doesn't use that exa...

Re: ELI5 the Horror Stalker path
Greetings, To be clear: knacks do not have ranks. These knacks are no exception. It provides a talent, which does have a rank. This may seem pedantic, but specificity in terminology is important because otherwise it becomes needlessly confusing and I cannot assure we are talking about the same thing...

Re: ELI5 the Horror Stalker path
Greetings, 1) Learning the knack allows you to weave a thread to the Path and gives rank 1 in the associated talent. 2) It is raised with Legend Points, but I don't quite know what "raised on its own" means in this context. It cannot be increased whenever there's eight hours to spare if you have the...
