I think I’ll run a test of this in my sometimes 1879 game, with the slight changes: +2 per assistant that succeeds, not per success. The main roller can coordinate a number of assistants equal to her ranks.

Capital ‘I’ Insight is Charisma. I had it in my head that it was a Perception test too. But social savvy is separated from observational skills. Perception is already overloaded, to be honest.

I haven't tested it in play - I've always just winged it, modifying TN or pooling successes. Just brainstorming, playing with the +5 = bonus success mechanic.
