I noticed that some of the classic monsters are targeted towards different difficulty levels.
As far as the other editions, just pretend they didn't happen. 1st and 4th are the only editions.

While not necessarily for summoning or other rules fixes (I tend to just house rule stuff like this), I might be interested in dropping a few dollars at a time on something like a little adventure or an expanded weapon list or Urupa Rogue's Gallery or something.

It's never been a large part of my games, but I always think of it like a ritual - so aspects that play up the ritual would work for me. You could burn through a certain monetary value in thematic materials to increase the chance of success, or bring in other characters to share the cost of failure.

Weeell, each die also has the potential to come up as a 1. And the only ones who would have the option to roll would be the ones with talents that modify initiative. And for most purposes, getting 1 better than your opponent's initiative is just as good as getting 10 better. And I don't think player...
