Re: Athens in Earthdawn
Vivane doesn't occupy the area of Greece. I'm not sure what you mean by that. The CITY of Vivane is indeed far away from Attica but the PROVINCE itself does include the entire modern Greece. I was unable, however, to find any information concerning 'the rest' of the province in either the Thera or ...

Re: Magic at high circles
I think there still should be a limit at what even a 15th Circle mage can do. Although the 'elemental-shift' spell used during the attack on the Floating city is recent, I think that it's 'power' is far bellow your other examples (Parlainth and particualarly the Sphinx (which I'm certain will have s...

Re: Other Editions
Indeed. Each Editions where an improvement over the previous one. If your objective is less complicated rules, 4th ED WOULD definitely be the way to go if only for the Karma mechanic simplifications and the disappearance of the dreaded success level table. Otherwise yes, 3rd ED would be the best. Th...

Re: Earthdawn Companion?
Any (even approximated) idea when the book will be available officially for us losers who didn't heard about that 4th ED Kickstarter before it was too late (hell, I didn't even knew there was a 3rd ED back then).
Thank you
Thank you

Re: Problems with circle advancement and balancing
From my point of view, the only real issue with Multi-Discipline characters (and, to a somewhat lesser extent, Versatility) is spotlight hogging. That is, when a character picks up something that treads into another character's specialty. I can see your point here. But then again, some overlapping ...

Re: Interaction tests and First Impression
Both being standard actions I would assume not. Although Winning Smile has a duration (and could therefore stack with the action of First Impression) I would also assume that the First Impression talent imply being .. well.. the FIRST Impression (i.e. first interaction) the target has with the chara...

Re: Knacks Preview
Might I suggest a Knack for the Elementalist spell Plant Feast where said feast is now guaranteed to be gluten-free?

Re: Death's Sea
Concept idea:
Long ago, Barsaive lived in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Death Sea Nation attacked! Only the Elementalists, masters of all four elements, could stop them, but when the world needed them most, the Scourge came.
