I would propose to be able to increase the shattering threshold. That IS related to stability and not as game breaking as another +Rank on physical defense. A friend of mine proposed to be able to reduce armor penalties as Weaponsmith. I like the idea of making an armor lighter instead of tougher. ...

i would think if a horror's physical form is in one place but the astral form is in another, there would probably be some kind of link between the two. not necessarily a huge obvious thing, but there should probably be some sort of sign if you know what to look for. or if nothing else, the physical ...

but why wouldn't they already know it if it isn't a rare spell? i mean, if they're spending their time hanging around teaching people, what are the odds that you're the first person ever to approach them with an offer of knowledge of that common spell? they only need to learn them once, after all.

why *wouldn't* adepts charge each other for spells? i mean, sure, the cost could potentially be a spell of equal value that the other adept wants (if you have such a spell that they don't know), but in general, they have a thing that you want, they're no more likely to give it away for free than any...

As for Liferocks surviving the Scourge, they are rock. Horrors cannot just pass into them. They have to destroy the rock until they get there and I don't know that many Horrors are accomplished miners. Otherwise they just would have dug into the kaers. they've poisoned and corrupted the earth elsew...

i would also mention that some of the new shaman spells in the mystic paths book give a TN of 6 for willing targets, which is another option that could be considered (though you should probably do so carefully).
