Re: combat tactics
Mainly to keep it really really simple (based on the Impaired Movement suggestion of halting movement on failed Dex checks in thick underbrush, etc). Opportunity attacks, or using Initiative, would bring in a whole can of worms (Armor mods, boosting Talents, spells, etc). Characters can withdraw fro...

Re: combat tactics
My house rule is a Dex test against the defender's Dexterity step. Failure ends all movement for the turn. Trigger is walking into defender's threat range (depends on weapon 1-2 hexes, 6-9ish feet). So at least twice if trying to "slip around someone" in a narrow hallway (2 hexes, ~10 feet), or 3 ti...

Re: additivity of spell penalties
Correct. One thing to note about overlapping durations. The highest effect applies only until its duration expires, then the other effect takes over.
Minor, but it comes up when you re-buff party members before the last one wore off.

Re: Disbelieving damaging illusions
In ED1, "disbelief" was something you could try against any illusion that targeted your character. It cost 1 Strain and your Action for the round. You gained a free Willpower/Disbelief test, and if you beat the Disbelief Difficulty (usually around 1/2 the Sensing difficulty) you shook off the effect...

Re: Earthdawn Social Media
"Does anyone know where to buy the old Earthdawn Special Adventures Frameworks (3rd Edition)?" This came up in the Earthdawn Guild on facebook, and a team member had an archive copy. I thought that this had been lost to the void of dead websites. But it is now freely available from FASA. The ED3E Ad...

Re: Bone Circle / Bone Spirit - Aid Summoner
Good clarifications. I roll for a random Attitude if summoning a "random" spirit (jumbled bones), but if the Nethermancer specifically uses bones she already has a relation to (dead familiars, relatives, ancestors, etc) then the spirit starts out at Neutral or better. This sets up the RP side of the...

Re: 4ed Character Sheet
As the layout monkey on that job, 'fillable' was not part of the job specs. Yes, this was entirely due to the timing of getting print products out. Also I believe it (English version) was not advertised as fillable... I'll see about an eta.

Re: Pale Ones t'skrang
The events of 2nd edition did not happen in the current timeline. Similar events happened, as both were based on a set of notes from 1st edition Fasa days, but 2nd is no longer cannon.
