Re: Trading House Campaign.
One of my groups formed a trading house too. We are now traveling to the far north east outside of Barsaive where we happen to stumble upon some of the legends surrounding Vasgothia and try to establish trade agreements with foreign cultures. But ofc we aren't circle 1 anymore ^^ What goods does you...

Re: order of combat steps
I'd say you can use Pounce to knock down the enemy and then use Surprise Strike. Even if the player has to activly use Surprise Strike, it's nothing the character will intentionally use. His adepts magic will feel the advantage given through the enemy going to fall over and therefore unconsciously i...

Re: Legends of Barsaive - Questions
I'm currently editing the German version of "LoB04 That which was lost" and and I came across a question: Unfortunately, eating the omelet will have later repercussions. Since there is no hint to those repercussions in this adventure, I guess it will be part of one of the followings. But shouldn't ...

Re: Severely distracted
If the effect would decrease the PD against everyone, I am of the same opinion as Bonhumm and ChrisDDickey. But the effect decreases the PD against everyone except the user. So I would handle it here a bit different as described in my example. The two distracts don't stack -> the highest counts for ...

Re: Severely distracted
I would play it like this (Of course the overall situation, the movements and actions of the characters could change those answers): Hmm, this would indeed be the simplest solution and would be in line with the wording in Dominate Beast regarding multiple instances. However, something just doesn't j...

Re: [ED4] Same spell multiple times on one target - what happens?
Not quite true, the duration of the second spell does not begin after the first duration ended, it begins instantly.
So it could happen that the second spells duration expired before it even showed an effect.

Re: Facing and blindside
Just go with the logic here, meaning option B.
The only mistake you're having is with 3 characters.
If you place one character in front of the enemy and the other one behind it, this is already enough to have him on his blindside,

We also use Great Leap to get the needed hight.
A discipline talent for both adepts (Sky Raider & Beastmaster) which use Down Strike.
In the Second Edition, Lizard Leap was the prefered skill to get the needed hight.
