Hi, 1. Scars remain because the wounds heal slowly and not carefully. But if they were healed very quickly and with magic help (e.g. Healing Potions or Questor), I wouldn't leave any scars unless the player had no problems with them. Well, higher circle nethermancer can summon horrors from such a plane so they atleast must know its name. But I don't know anything canon either. Pretty sure they do that with the Horror's name.
