Re: When are you considered dead?
Oooh, that's a good question. I would say yes to external damage. No to suffocation. Bleeding is weird, and probably a GM call.

Re: T'skrang Nipples
Love this thread. :D In my Barsaive, T'skrang females have small breasts, males grow large ones when they take on the specific cultural role mentioned in the books. Both are capable of lactacting (varies by individual) theoretically, but the female population has a minority that are actually viable ...

Re: When are you considered dead?
The character is dead, and things that target dead things will work on it. The character's spirit & pattern integrity are stable until Toughness Step hours after death (I.E. it takes that long for one of Death-the-Named-Spirit's underlings to collect the personality/whatever part of the Pattern live...

Re: Wind Catcher is a Standard Action?
Knacks should not be universally available. i.e. when a player wants a specific one, they will have to hunt around for some-one who knows that Secret and convince them to teach it. Still wouldn't hurt to have both - considering their other specialty uses.

The first round (5.7) seconds of falling is when you hit terminal velocity. You fall ~576 ft (192 yards) over that time. At that point you are at terminal velocity and fall almost twice that every 6 seconds. https://rpg.stackexchange.com/questions/3843/how-far-does-one-travel-when-falling-for-one-ro...

Re: Faster Casters?
Mages often have to be very aware of the situation just before combat breaks out. If a player says "I start threadweaving" before I get to "roll initiative" I often allow then to test for one thread before starting combat (unless they've failed Surprise, etc). Also - try to Surprise opponents. Secon...
