Re: When are you considered dead?
Our group has been having a discussion about when a character is considered dead. Basically, the question boils down to whether or not you are dead as soon as your damage reaches or exceeds your death rating or if your character is offically dead only after the period of time that a Last Chance Sal...

Re: T'skrang Nipples
I guess because trolls, dwarves etc come from human stock (at least at the start of each magic cycle) they may have certain things in common, such as this sexual dimorphism thing ya all want to talk about. Humans don't really have sexual dimorphism. Anglerfish have sexual dimorphism. Praying Mantis...

Re: T'skrang Nipples
We've had a lot of acrimonious debate about this or that rule lately. Normally I would post something goofy that I made up, but I'm doing a bunch of writing for something else right now and got nothing. So: T'skrang nipples: lactating or non-lactating? My wife is a Lactation Consultant, so I think ...

Re: Collective Issues with the Earthdawn 4e Game System/Engine
I would personally recommend some official clarification on this since the title and some of the text feels like it very needlessly suggests something not intended, thereby leading to these questions (asked on both the old and current forum). I feel like this happens a lot. You say "Power X needs t...

Re: Collective Issues with the Earthdawn 4e Game System/Engine
We may be talking past each other as you seem to be talking orthogonality. As far as I can tell, you aren't responding to my points and I'm not seeing where your points connect to mine. Here's the talent text (last line removed as it's about duration): "The adept detects weaknesses in a character’s...

Re: Collective Issues with the Earthdawn 4e Game System/Engine
As I said, Obsidimen have natural armor. That is in addition to equipped armor. The question is, since they effectively have two armor and if Spot Armor Flaw is against the armor, can you use Spot Armor Flaw twice on the same Namegiver. Providing an example of how it can effectively be used once ag...

Re: Collective Issues with the Earthdawn 4e Game System/Engine
Allowing it against natural armor gets prickly, IMHO. It won't come up too often, but this begs the question "How does it work against Obsidimen"? These Namegivers usually wear armor over their natural armor. Does that mean Spot Armor Flaw could be used against them TWICE? I'd say yes, if it works ...

How to Schedule an Adventure
Our West Marches game follows a player-driven model where players comes up with an idea for an adventure, arrange a time and a GM to run it, and recruit other players to go with them. Each Adventure begins with a conversation between a player and (at least one) GM, talking about Adventure theme, sta...
