Talent Options becoming Free Talents
I’ve got most of the Multi-Discipline rules down and understood, but there’s one scenario where I’m uncertain: What happens when a Talent Option from the primary Discipline becomes a Free Talent for the secondary? For example, a Fifth Circle Warrior has selected Danger Sense as a Talent Option and r...

Re: Charging Attacks and Charge Talent
THUS, A Cavalryman with: - A STR Step of 9 Play a lot of Obsidiman Cavalrymen? ;) That being said, I read the rules the same way you do. Cavalrymen can make devastating charges, but generally only every other round. Seeing as that’s their one main trick and they have other, serious limitations as p...

Re: Down Strike vs. Knocked down
This is a topic to which all attempts to apply logic break down pretty fast, and most simply apply precedent and fiat, rather than look for a unifying logic. Thank you for a serious and elaborate answer. I was looking for a logical explanation to tie together several inconsistent use cases where I ...

Re: Down Strike vs. Knocked down
Humor appreciated :) So my feet have to be one yard above his face? I don’t really see that applying much to the actual gravitational forces involved and actual weapon distance traveled regarding my racial examples. Also, I don’t really see your two “OK” examples as including a stable position. What...

Down Strike vs. Knocked down
As the topic, how does Down Strike interact with a Knocked down opponent in combat? From the description: [...]He must be in a stable position at least one yard above his opponent (either mounted or standing on higher ground), or must jump down onto his opponent.[...] Being mounted implies that I ca...

Re: Weak Horrors
With Icewing describing Verjigorm as something akin to the creator of the world in Horrors p. 66, he certainly is as powerful as they come - and thus a useful thing to measure the rest of them against.

Re: Ranged Aiming
Instead of giving a bonus and risk giving too much, simply make aiming waive a penalty. Called Shots have been brought up, but an attacker aiming at long range might waive the Range penalty, while one hiding under some bushes might undo the Knocked Down penalty. Multiple imaginable scenarios in my o...

Re: K'ansanar's tail
Might it not simply be a temporary punishment? A mark that can’t be concealed but doesn’t last forever either? Like you might only go to prison for a year but not the rest of your life. It’d make sense that regrowing his tail was important since his punishment is no longer visible. Mark you; I havn’...

In any case, I feel like I have a better grasp of the intent and capabilities of Divine Aura now. Thank you both for your thoughts and insights.
