At the end of each character creation we have a dice roll (w20) how resourceful a character is.
That was more fun for us than 120 silver everyone. That roll gives a good indication how fancy the ride can be.

Re: Wizzard C6 Spell Discplace Self
Nothing that helps the mage... more a buff for the other group members. The mage does not really shine in avoid blow without any buffs or having human versatility and the talent. Maybe together with „Energy Shield“... Energy Shield with an extra thread for a party buff is something to keep in mind t...

Re: Loosing your turn due to encumbrance
Just to differentiate...
I agree, players who repeatedly cant make up their mind should feel consequences. Otherwise the sense of urgency does not come across.
This is however the answer to a different (but surely equally valuable) question. Mine was about loosing turns purely due to dice results.

Loosing your turn due to encumbrance
A question to those who have played also the earlier editions. I was playing with folks who applied the rule of one also to initiative results. (You would loose your turn on a one) I pointed out that ED-classic is explicit about this not being the case. However I believe there has been a different v...

Re: Question: 'Nobody Here' spell
Expiry of the spell does not retroactively change their memories because their memories were never affected. Thanks all for the summary. I just started in a group as player (yipee) and they play second edition (oh well...). In the second edition the nobody here spell explicitly states that the vict...

Re: Question: 'Nobody Here' spell
So someone is charging with his horse on a narrow path through a group of obsidimen adepts (who just happened to discuss about their next steps right there in privacy)protected by this spell. will the rider bump into them and maybe roll damage? He will roll a sensing test and in case of a fail make ...

Thx.
So it does not matter whether it is your own grimoir you cast from, or a grimoir from someone else?
