Re: Question on raising Path's Rank

Pretty sure it's every rank, not tier. I'll have to look up a reference.

Re: Housing in Travar

On top of my head, the only 'canon' prices for houses I can think of are in the Throal book where the mansions in the Estates (richest area) are described as 'at least 100 000 silvers'. FYI-page 125 of Throal: The Dwarf Kingdom A typical house dwelling in the Weshel are rented for 100/150 silvers a...

It's a good play, but my player wants to rush things up.
Well, they'd have the house to use right away.

Re: Housing in Travar

....why do they have that many children with them? They have been rescued from a kear infested by giant spiders. The players had more then one options to find them good shelter with people to take good care of them. But instead, they insisted on adopting all of them with the help of the mother and ...

Re: Housing in Travar

I'd be surprised if there was anything available for even a reasonable price within the walls. You could consider T'town or elsewhere on the riverfront. As well, consider a sponsor willing to provide a house for them in exchange for services. Then, when they inevitably have to investigate the murder...

Re: [Thread Item] Everlight Bow

Great suggestions! I'm glad you like it! The main purpose of "Flare" (I'll rename it) is to provide a nice utility power for outside combat more than anything. "What's down this dark cave?" "Hold on, I'll shoot a light arrow." I hadn't thought out too much about the knock-on effect of making the tar...

Re: [Thread Item] Everlight Bow

My big questions are as follows:

(1) Is it too much to provide those simple utility abilities alongside more basic boosts? (Torchlight at rank 1 and Flare)

(2) Should the rank 6 ability cost more? Provide a bigger bonus?

[Thread Item] Everlight Bow

I have a player who was looking for a light quartz elven warbow to, I don't know, paint a target on himself. I'm sure he wanted a weapon with the dual utility of a torch, but I denied it to him for now. That said, I kinda wanted to give him mostly what he was asking for as his first thread item. Tho...

Re: Item with Thread Weaving bonus

And yes it’s to cast faster 😁 If it's to cast faster, might I make a suggestion? Give it a spell matrix. Add boosts to tests for thread weaving and/or spellcasting for only the spell(s) in the matrix. Give it an (higher-tiered) ability to use strain to allow casting a spell in the matrix as a simpl...
