Re: Fourth Edition Errata, Clarifications, and FAQs

I was also wondering about the inconsistencies among creatures movement in the GMG. Some creatures have (Swim X) others have (Swimming X) and some have (Climb X) while others have (Climbing X). Was this a simple oversight or is there some reason for the distinction that I am missing? Just sloppy co...

Re: Is Great Leap, by itself, the entirety of a movement action?

I would allow "standard" movement in addition to the Great Leap. Wow. I had never even considered that it would allow a total bonus movement, and that you could leap up to your movement rate, then use your normal movement action to move up to your normal movement rate on the ground, and still have ...

Re: Spoiler question (My players stay out of this thread!)

I'm talking about the rose that the queen gives the party, not the pattern item for Wyrm Wood that Hermion sends to the Blood Wood. I understand that, and to answer your original question: No, there wasn't any follow-up or continuing plot thread related to that in other books. I was more wondering ...

Re: Spoiler question (My players stay out of this thread!)

I'm going to hint at a huge setting spoiler, so forgive me for not providing more. Re: Question: 'Nobody Here' spell

Thinking of "figment" as only applying to one sense is... not technically wrong? But not exactly right either.

The better distinction is that "Illusions" (as defined by the keyword) are masquerading as "real", where "Figments" are not.

Re: Mech warrior 4 expansions don't work and the repiar tools don't work!

We don't have anything to do with Mech Warrior 4, so we can't help you. FASA was the original creator of Battletech (and MechWarrior) back in the 80s, and the computer games were originally developed through FASA Interactive, but that division was sold off to Microsoft back in the late 90s/early 200...

Re: Small question about levelling up

You now have a +3 instead of a +2.

Player's Guide, page 86, under "Characteristics Bonuses": "Only the highest bonus applies to a given Defense Rating."
