Re: Half-Magic question

I would grant him a little edge in hunting, wood related work and guessing distances.

Re: Optional Circle Advancement Rules

Although I like the optional rule, the cost structure should not be not touched. Hence you have 2 slots per circle and you can fill it with your current or lower options. The cost is however determined by the circle in which you choose the talent. So you master talent option can be fillled with mele...

Re: Excel Sheet EDTalents 2.Edition

Hi Belenus,

thank you for the files, a few I had only printed long ago and lost the digital version.

I was actually looking more for something like this:

EDTalents1.1.xlsx

This was an overview I made for my players to have a cheatsheet.

Excel Sheet EDTalents 2.Edition

Hi Folks,
I am in a group of ED players who wish to stay with ED2. There is pros and cons but lets just take it as a fact.

Does anyone have useful table helpers for creatures or talents? (Even in German maybe because not everyone has big language skills)

Kind regards,
Lars

Re: Racial Varients

Maybe getting other discipline‘s nicest talent has been a little harder, if not impossible in our group. We had a warrior who was eager to learn fireblood. He never got it.

The reasoning that the humans shine in higher circles while other benefits weigh more in lower circles is good.

Re: Racial Varients

Hm, you have some good points there regarding the absolute value of the human versatility.

Compared to ED2 I do see a significant increase in flexibility for all races. The competitive advantage to other races is smaller.

Re: Racial Varients

With all the different ways all races can acquire additional talent like powers (Optional talent pool, Questor, Paths, ets) versatility is really not as much of a feat as it used to be.

I would rather trade it in as you propose.

Re: Spellcaster damage

I once had a group of scout, thief, troubadour, traveling scholar and elementarist. Believe it or not, the elementarist was the main damage dealer but only because thief and scout saw the enemy before the enemy saw them. Captain Obvious says: Using individual skills in a concerted way makes a big di...
