Re: Next Books after London

I vote for the companions. While the Fort Alice and Saurid sourcebooks will be nice, there's a lot of material that you have said will be in the companions, like spell creation and such

Question on karma

So, other than the very occasional use for specific skills, what can karma be used for?

Re: IRL Crystal Weapons...Seriously

Ooh, the magic bleed has slowed down. So, I wonder if over the next decade magic is going to slowly start bleeding into the Gruv from Earth. After all, the cyclical magic of earth seemed to ramp up pretty fast from the Gruv's jumpstart.

Re: Saurids

Hmm, I wonder if spell magic would be a useful tool against the Samsut undead troops then. And a steady state world....hmm, I wonder if that is natural or artificially induced with the type of tech the Samsut found. Makes for some food for thought.

Question about the Passions

With the Questor book in the queue, I was thinking on the Passions and what they actually are. Are they a group of beings that ascended to a higher plane in an earlier age, are they magical constructs created by the belief of the peoples of Earthdawn and empowered by the magic of the world, or are t...

Saurids

THe evidence of older Annnunaki ruins in te Gruv suggests a civilization that could be responsible fo...

Re: IRL Crystal Weapons...Seriously

What about in the Gruv? Wouldn't the magic there be high enough for them to function? If you could figure out how to use them.

Games at Origins

I'm planning on running 4 1879 sessions at Origins. There are three basic adventures and one that follows up the events of the other three
They're titled:
East End Slasher
A Wolf in the Fold
Big Trouble in New Islington
Patterns Weave into Threads

skill question

I was wondering about a skill received by mages at the novice tier, Craftsman: magical tools. What counts as magical tools and how would they be used in game? There's no info jn the player'd guide about that.
