Re: What is a Social Interaction / what is not?
So in general, interaction tests are tests which are rolled with your charisma attribute only.
Whenever you use any talent, it's not an interaction test anymore, it's a talent test.
Am I right?

Re: Group Adventure Log
We use a facebook group and whoever is willing to write the summary/journal of the actual play-evening might do so. The writer gets a massive extra amount of LP for the entry, which usually doubles or triples his/her LP income, depending on the amount of work and skill invested. We assume that the j...

Re: Shield and Forge Armor, why not?
I'm still limiting that because of the ridiculousness a dagger with a +20 (15 talent and +5 for a group pattern , eventually more from other items) forging would be for us. And there shoould be a reason to wield heavy weapons such as two handed swords. If a dagger comes with damage step 22 and the ...

Re: Down Strike and how it might interact with Great Leap and/or splitting movement.
Our Troll Skyraider brought up the exact same thing. We all agreed, that a 'pogo-jumping' Skyraider is utterly ridiculous and Down strike is just a bad version of Crushing blow.
Our solution: We replaced all occurances of Down Strike with Crushing Blow. Works fine (for us).

Re: Shield and Forge Armor, why not?
I'm a gamemaster and I have my ED4 campaign Forging still maxed at basic weapon damage. A Dagger with damage step 2 can have a maximum of 2 steps of forging, a two handed sword with damage step 8 can have an additional 8 steps of forging. I'm still limiting that because of the ridiculousness a dagge...

Back to topic: I made a generator for NPC, standard ones and adepts in every discipline and circle. But the resulting texts are in german, so if anyone wants some, I can generate unlimited NPC

Claw shape and shields
Hello folks, i recently killed my whole group of players and now everybody is creating a new character. Two of them want to play a beastmaster and came up with a question I could not answer: is it possible to combine claw shape with a shield? The description says it alters both hands to claws. Is it...

Re: Optional Rules for Companion
If it works for you, more power to your table. :) I find that a little nudging by the GM tends to take care of this: "you are in a dangerous place, so you won't be able to guarantee a half hour to complete this (same goes for rest ahead of a recovery test)" or "you're currently pursuing some, and g...
