Re: Integrating 1879 in Shadowrun
First two part have been completed. I've kept it more as high level broad-strokes as we are talking of about 200 years worth of history to go through. The document is evergreen though and as we get more info on the Gruv, I'll likely amend part 2. The main goal here is to (try to) give enough to allo...

Re: Integrating 1879 in Shadowrun
The writing of Shadowrun: The Grosvenor Land has begun and while not necessary, the Calendar of the Gruv can prove to be a handy resource. as you can see by the structure, the document is built for both a French and English public and all the paragraphs are lined up (it's a common trick for the Cana...

Re: [Game Aid] Gruv Calendar
Thanks for sharing this! You are welcome. So I understand how to use it - Y:1 corresponds to what year? The C: row tells you which calendar to use, right? For the purpose of ease of reference, the decison is to have the Gruv Year 1 correspond to 1876 when Prof. Grosvenor open the portal. Granted no...

[Game Aid] Gruv Calendar
For a side project of mine ( porting 1879 to Shadowrun ), I've worked on the calendar of the Gruv which can be found here . Basically the document provided: 1) the 7 possible calendars (one starting on each day of the week); 2) Which calendar matching for which Gruv year (over 280 years worth), 3) T...

Re: Integrating 1879 in Shadowrun
I realise the Discords is way more active than here and I've already mentioned this on the 1879-General (not in as much detail) and it's already passed by, thus this more complete (and easier to locate) thread. Once written I'll share the document on both location. Thankfully we have have two Punk-F...

Integrating 1879 in Shadowrun
I started Shadowrun with the 2nd and 3rd edition, when it was still, mostly cryptically, tied to ED and got back with the 6th edition (the French one with more integrated errata) and thanks to the latest 1879 KS, I caught up on my backlog and I really like it. So naturally, my first instinct is to i...

Re: New to forum
Yeah the Doctor Who RPG from FASA goes back to the mid-80's or so. Unfortunately it's not longer supported.

Re: Distance and Travel Time Elven Nations
Shosara in in Northern Russia in the White sea roughly where Letnjaja Zolotica lies and Barsaivre is roughly where Ukraine stands. With that in mind you should be able to guesstimate the distance with Google map. I thought there was not a 1:1 correlation between RW miles and Barsaivian miles. Maybe...
