Since noone is answering, perhaps the question is too specific. Let's make it more general then: Are there any rules or precedence regarding timing of effects triggering at the same time? Player chooses? Or always worst option?

Oh I like the infected spell matrix Me too! And that is, incidentally, how the idea started, and the rest got built on from there. I just loved the idea of some parasitic and infectious astral bugger taking over the Spell Matrices and possibly spreading from there. It made sense to make it a Horror...

So if the adept has a thread dagger, they don't have to worry about throwing it. There’s always the “Returning” Talent knack, Companion p. 114 . Great work, and I like the overall idea. Making the Daggers talent work both for throwing and close combat is a nice idea to gently force the theme without just being worse than Melee Weapons. Edit: Should I make Call Missile a Free Talent also? That might actually make them the long-sought Throwing...
