Re: New Discipline: Harriers
with movement rates as they are, splitting movement to move in and out of range will never really be a thing. Even more so, once you add long shot. YoU'd need to add rank 10+ sprint and fluid movement to get anywhere near "get in and out of combat range" distances, where the latter already takes car...

Re: New Discipline: Harriers
This looks really cool but there are 2 things in C5 that don't make sense to me: The Splitting Movement ability: What benefit do they actually ain from this? Since they are ranged combatants and will never really require splitting movement to perform any of their attacks. The Karma ability: That see...

Re: Group Pattern Specifics
I think you are over-reading the rules and are trying to find fault where there isn't really any. The list given in the group thread section essentially says any one talent, or any of these characteristics. Everything except for talent or durability are characteristic increases. It never states that...

If you can get onto the FASA discord, I suggest contacting Lars, who is behind Steps. he might be able to figure out what's not working for you.

Re: Fourth Edition Errata, Clarifications, and FAQs
Had a discussion today in the discord:

Re: Blunt arrows
I'd allow a called shot with the aim to cause Knockdown. Archers can pump enough Karma into attacks that this should be a trivial task for them.
Blunt arrows and the like is not something that I'd want in my game but your table, your rules.

Re: Figments
I'm not sure, in my interpretation Figments need to have some sort of sensory component to qualify as such, which the Trust spell doesn't really have. Nothing to see, hear, or otherwise perceive. But it's certainly similar to my interpretation of the Clarion Call spell, but offers a much longer dura...

Re: Figments
We read the "obviously an illusion" part less as "the targets KNOWS it was an illusion" but more as something coming from the subconscious. So once figment are seen through, the person affected has an obvious sense of having been deceived/something being off. But I'll explain more how I picture thin...

You're probably better off contacting fasa directly via their business email.

Re: Bitterroot [Magic Weapon]
One fun thing could be that, instead of Mark of the Boar, Aspect of the Casual Murderer gets cast when the wielder has gotten on the spirit's bad side
