Re: Tasting "Inspire Others"

One thing I already ruled is the can't decide to target specific characters. It is always the whole group no matter how many they are. Because anything else doesn't make sense. The only difference that really makes is that the Inspirer with the higher Social Defense needs to go first so that the ot...

And no animal/creature can benefit from it, Animal Talk or not.

Re: Tasting "Inspire Others"

We're playing with 4th edition rules. When both my players use that talent, the effects won't stack of course. The group will benefits from the higher effect while each Boatmen will use each other effect roll. Oh yes, they're two Boatmen, so before they roll for it, they give each other a "high five...

Tasting "Inspire Others"

WARNING: WHINNING AHEAD Any GM out there ever tasted Inspire Others by the players? Rules say it gives +2 per success to EVERY rolls for rank rounds. My players (yes there are two of them) tend to be lucky with it so all the group regularly have like +8 and more to all their rolls on every fight. O...

Re: Elementalists in Elemental form

A midway compromise could be a spell that allow someone to apply an elemental Mask as per the Masks rules in the Companion. Except I would not allowed any modifier to the Action number.

Re: Gauntlet and Defensive Posture

Maneuver does not require winning initiative. You're right. But the bonus to PD last for the remaining of current round. So, it's still useful for the bonus to your attack, but since you're pretty much the last one to act, it doesn't matter you Physical Defense, no more opponent will attack you tha...

Gauntlet and Defensive Posture

Hi everyone. I'm building an npc and I want to explore the new Gauntlet discipline. It's a powerful npc. I made it 9th circle. I see in the warden options he has access to Defensive Posture. This talent only works with other talents that grants bonus to Physical Defense. In the case of the Gauntlet,...

Fire Eaters Knacks

I try to make sense of most of the knacks made for the Fire Eaters. There is a lot of knacks that keep their standard effects but get the bonus from Gahad. I don't see why there is a knack for that because every action tests and effect tests get this bonus just by the standard rules. Unless... a) th...

Step 8 means up to 8 things can get a +8 bonus, which requires the marked character to acquiesce 64 times.
Thanks Morgan. That's the kind of perspective I needed.
