Hi folks,

When you're ready to commit to a Thread Item request, please add a post in this thread to that effect. Here's a nice template:

Thread items default to the tier of your current character, but there is a chance that you may receive a more powerful item. Depending on how many points you spent on item power, that chance is:
0 TIP -> 20%
1 TIP -> 30%
2 TIP -> 40%
3 TIP -> 55%
4 TIP -> 70%

If you spend 0 points on item choice, the item you receive is guaranteed to be usable by your character, but not guaranteed to be useful. An Ork Sky Raiders may get a Windling-sized weapon that gives Spellcasting bonuses. The bargain bin is fun!
If you spend 1 point on item choice, the item you receive will be physically useable *and appropriate*. The Ork Sky Raider would get an Ork-sized weapon, but it might still give Spellcasting bonuses.
If 2 points, the item will be sized well and also be useful for your character's discipline. The Ork Sky Raider might get an item that gave bonuses to Air Sailing or Second Weapon.
If 3 points, the item will be sized well, and will physically be the exact item you choose. It will also be useful for your character's build/habits/etc. If the Ork Sky Raider eschewed actual use of airships, or was a single-weapon character, they would get things more useful than Air Sailing or Second Weapon.
If 4 points, all the above applies, and you may request 1 specific power. The requested power must be one that would be appropriate for an un-upgraded-tier item - i.e, your character's current tier.

If you want to kick ideas around but not make a formal request, Discord is good for that. I'm not always around and don't always have full availability for complicated discussions, but we'll see what we can do. If you know in advance you're going to want a thread item with highly unusual/custom/etc powers, giving me some advance warning of the vague flavor of what you want may give the idea longer to cook in the back of my head, which may be helpful.

When you've posted here, I'll go into the Roll20 table and roll for your upgrade chance. Once I've rolled, your request is final. It may take me some time to put all the finishing touches on the item, but your TIPs are spent and you're no longer at risk of losing some to the cap.
